The season was characterized by a cool spring and normal rainfall according to the historical average and 20% higher compared to the previous season. e summer recorded moderate temperatures for the months of December and January followed by temperatures 3ºC below the previous season during the months of March and April.
is harvest, with slow ripening and good acidity grapes, allowed us to craft elegant and balanced wines. e grapes were handpicked in prime condition from April 10th. e clusters and grains were selected and transported gravitationally into the stainless steel tanks.
It fermented with a post-fermentative maceration of 14 days followed by malolactic in barrel and use 70% new French oak barrels for 20 months. The oak is very nicely integrated, it feels like the intensity and structure of the wine take the oak pretty well. is has power and elegance, it is very tasty and should be able to develop nicely in the bottle.
